Sub: - Quotation for
Comprehensive AMC of Multimedia System (5 data projectors) inclusive of their
lamps & lenses installed at IMD HQ,
Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003 for two years.
Sir,
1. The Director General of Meteorology, (ISS
Division) India Meteorological Department, Mausam Bhawan, Lodi Road, New
Delhi-110003, invites sealed tenders in two bid pattern (Technical and Financial) for the comprehensive AMC of Multimedia
System (5 data projectors) inclusive of their lamps & lenses installed at IMD HQ, Lodi Road, New
Delhi-110003 for two years. Both the envelopes should be sealed and super
scribed as:
“Quotation for comprehensive AMC of Multimedia
System (5 data projectors) inclusive of their lamps & lenses installed at
IMD HQ for Technical bidding” and “Quotation for comprehensive AMC of Multimedia
System (5 data projectors) inclusive of their lamps & lenses installed at
IMD HQ for Financial bidding”. Both the envelopes should be enclosed in single cover and
super scribed as:
“Quotation for Comprehensive AMC of
Multimedia System (5 data projectors) inclusive of their lamps &
lenses installed at IMD HQ, for two
years”. Tender should be accompanied with a bank
draft of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) as EMD (refundable) drawn in
favour of Admin Officer (DDO), Office
of the Director General of Meteorology, Mausam Bhawan, Lodi Road, New
Delhi-110003, valid for 3 months from the date of opening the tender.
2. Last date of receipt of tender is 04-06-2012 (3.00 pm Sharp) at 3rd Floor, Room no. 323,
General Branch ISS Division Mausam Bhawan Lodi Road New Delhi-3.
Technical Bid will be opened on the same day at 3.30 pm in presence of
tenderers. Date of opening of Financial Bid will be intimated later on to
technically qualified bidders. Department
reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders received without assigning
any reason.
3. Copy of tender
document can be obtained from 3rd Floor, Room no. 323, General
Branch ISS Division Mausam Bhawan Lodi Road New Delhi-3 at cost of
Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) in
the form of Bank draft payable at New Delhi. Tender notice can also be
downloaded from IMD Website htpp://www.imd.gov.in, however if downloaded from website, a draft of Rs.100/- drawn
in favour of Admin Officer (DDO),
Office of the Director General of Meteorology, Mausam Bhawan, Lodi Road, New
Delhi-3 valid for 3 months from the date of opening the tender is to be submitted along with tender document. The cost of tender
document is non- refundable. Tender without tender-cost will be rejected.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMPREHENSIVE AMC
1 The comprehensive AMC period of two years will be effective from the date of signing the agreement by the firm.
2 Acceptance of AMC should be confirmed within 10 days of receipt of the letter otherwise this office reserves the right to cancel the order without assigning any reason. The liability resulting for this cancellation will be on the firm.
3 Director General of Meteorology reserves the right to reject or accept any quotation without assigning any reason what so ever.
4 In case of any dispute, the decision of the Director General of Meteorology will be final and binding to all in general.
5 Payment shall be made on the half yearly basis after completion of six month only after satisfactory service certificate from the users.
6 If the fault in the projector persists for more than three days or if the AMC firm is taking projector for repair then a standby working projector is to be provided without any cost implication.
7 Failure in compliance of condition (06) double the amount of number of days of failure shall be deducted from AMC payment.
8 This contract includes any number of breakdown calls plus preventive maintenance servicing of projectors after every two months basis.
9 Lamps & lenses are also covered in comprehensive AMC for two years.
10 The vender is required to submit OEM authorization for maintenance of the projectors.

Bidder is
required to enclose minimum two years experience certificate in the field of
maintenance of Projectors in the Government department/PSU. Bidder is required
to submit documentary evidence for maintenance experience of same level
Projectors.
2 DGM reserve the right to terminate the contract at any time, after 30 days notice if the service provided by the firm is not satisfactory.
3 Firm should maintain separate log for each projector and get it signed by IMD official for each preventive maintenance/maintenance visit.
14 The firm should supply the details of its call centre meant for booking the complaint along with the contact numbers (Mobile, phone/Fax/mail address) and name of its service engineers.
15 This contract shall be governed in all respect by Indian Laws.
16 Bill to be raised in the name of DGM (ISSD) Mausam Bhawan, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003.
17 Paying Authority is DGM, IMD, Mausam Bhawan, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003.
18 Financial proposal shall indicate separately cost for 1st year & 2nd year. All the taxes shall be quoted separately.

At the time of
signing the agreement firm will be required to deposit 5% Bank guarantee
of the supply order valid for the period of 26 months.

Delhi-110003, invites sealed tenders in two bid pattern (Technical and Financial) for the comprehensive AMC of IMD LAN
including their accessories at HQ New Delhi for two years. Both the envelopes
should be sealed and super scribed as:
“Quotation for Comprehensive AMC of IMD LAN
including their accessories at HQ New Delhi for Technical bidding”
and “Quotation for AMC of IMD LAN including their accessories at HQ New
Delhi for Financial bidding”.

document is non- refundable. Tender without tender-cost will be rejected.
4. The successful bidder will be required to
submit performance Bank Guarantee @ 5% of the supply order for the period
of 26 months at the time of signing the AMC agreement.
5. A brief Description of IMD LAN at HQ New Delhi
including terms & conditions of the maintenance contract are attached
herewith (Annexure-I).
